The ANA is Coming!!! The ANA is Coming!!!
The American Numismatic Association (www.money.org) will be holding its 2004 National Money Show March 26-28, 2004 at the Portland Convention Center (click here for directions). The Willamette Coin Club is honored to be the host club for the ANA convention. ANA Fever is contagious, and all of our club members have caught the numismatic bug. Contact Larry Gaye (light.man@verizon.net), our Convention Chairman, for more information. The only antidote for ANA Fever is to attend the show!

The Willamette Coin Club will be hosting its club show this year at a different date than usual. Please plan on joining us at the DoubleTree Hotel (Portland, OR at the Lloyd Center - 1000 N.E. Multnomah) on Saturday February 15 and Sunday February 16, 2003. Show hours are 10AM to 6PM both days. Dealer setup will be Friday February 14, 2003 from 8AM to 6PM. At our regular meeting on November 21, the Willamette Coin Club held elections. The following members have been dragooned effective next January:

The club says "thank you very much" to our outgoing officers for their excellent service to the club.

The Willamette Coin Club joins many other organizations nationwide in expressing our horror and grief over the tragic events of September 11, 2001. We take heart in the remarkable resilience and caring responses ofthe American people. Club members have unanimously voted to make substantial donations to Northwest Medical Teams and to the New York City Fire Department's Widows' and Children's Fund.
