CLUB HISTORY AND ACTIVITIES

The club was founded in 1986 by a group of numismatists with widely varied interests.

We hosted the Pacific Northwest Numismatic Association (PNNA) Coin Show for the years of 1995, 1996, 1997, 1998 and 1999. We were the host club for the American Numismatic Association's (ANA) National Money Show in Portland in 2004.

Our monthly meetings are open to the public, and visitors are always welcome.

UPCOMING EVENTS

The ANA is Coming Back!

Time to mark your long range calendar - the American Numismatic Association's National Money Show (the Spring show) is coming back to Portland in 2009. The Willamette Coin Club's participation and excellent support as host club for the 2003 National Money Show was instrumental in the ANA's decision to return to Portland. Come join us now, be part of the planning for the show, and be a show volunteer - it's an experience you won't forget.
